Traditional foods:
Couscous is the most famous dish for the people of the region, whether it is in broth and what is known as “saffah” and its competitor in that grill that occupies the table of feasts and weddings of the Saidians. The area is also famous for some sweets and traditional dishes such as: R’fis, M’bassas, M’saman, Gheribiya… which form well-established food habits, whether in daily life or major occasions such as marriage, aqeeqah (baby’s birth), and religious and national holidays.
